They would break their necks by 1970’s rules - no one for college team would be left in 4th quarter.

They had more stamina and were quicker in the 70s.

Modern college football teams wouldn't last back in the days of one platoon football.

Dumb take,

have you ever watched a 70’s NFL Team play then or on film recently.
They would also kill any modern NFL Team using 70’s rules.

If today's college teams saw Jack Lambert coming for them they would shite themselves.

You bet.

And the iPhone would be par for the course technologically 50 years ago.

Yes, because all of the pansy football players of today would be screaming targeting when they got the shite knocked out of them, or holding on every play. Players are overall bigger and faster today, but more vulvas play today.

John Hannah would crush any d lineman today.

This is the thread I’m looking for!

Yes modern offense & defense, bigger & stronger. Alabama 2021 cooks them

Only one nfl player in the 1970s was over 300 lbs. that’s table stakes now

A modern CFB team would find out real quick why they wore those big arse pads. Also, sorry, but CFB is just shite compared to the NFL. The portal has made it worse. No player development. Less team chemistry. High roster turnover. Officiating.

You think it's because 300 lb people didn't exist?

Any NFL team from the late 1960s up would dominate any college team you can think of.

They used to do a game where the college all stars were thrown together to play a good NFL team and until the late 60s they held their own.

Keep in mind this was a college team that had only played together a few weeks.

They last won in 1963 and lost by just 7 to the Steelers in 1975

Depends on the rules. If you get to hit QBs and Receivers going over the middle like back then, no. If they throw a flag every time Mean Joe Green touches someone it becomes more doubtful

In would agree depending on refs by year. Any nfl team vs current college teams in real football would just dominate. These skinny arse dudes going over the middle catching passes at 180lbs lmfao the WR core of any nfl team the last 15 years would absolutely get dried out. Bow to the quarterbacks ha!!!! Man these dudes would not survive the very first play action pass… lmfao no a college football team with better training and softer rules would not be able to hang…

Notice you couldn’t name someone in football lmao, you gas lighted that entire statement to prove you don’t understand team sports. And left context out of those in basketball. Take the L.

I doubt it. An NFL team from the 60’s is old as shite at this point.
