I was listening to local sports radio this afternoon and former NFL executive Mike Lombardi said, "If the Dolphins medical staff had not flunked Drew Brees' physical, Nick Saban would still be in Miami."

Hmmmm... interesting "what if". So with no gaurantees for the Saints or the Tigers, would you trade your Saints NFL title for Nick Saban never setting foot in the SEC again?

Upvote for YES. Downvote for NO.

I'm more of an LSU fan than a Saints fan. So yes. In a heartbeat.

I ask this question to people all the time. If there is no Alabama, LSU is looking at probably 3 minimum natties since Miles came. 07, 11, 12, and then there’s no telling what could have happened from there based on the recruiting battles we’ve lost to Bama since then.

A lot of people still stick with the Saints, it was a huge deal for the city and state, but as a pretty mild Saints fan and a third generation alum I pick the Tigers.

UGA fans say let the Ain'ts keep their SB, we wouldn't have Kirby without Saban at Bama.

Your dumb arse doesn't understand subsets. He's implying that LSU fans are Saints fans, not the other way around.

He's wrong, but that doesn't excuse you for being stupid.

I'd let the Saints go 0-16 for 10 years straight for an LSU NC

The better question is would they trade it for Saban never leaving LSU?

They'd probably trade a testicle for that.

Obviously in 07, probably in 11, but why are you considering 2012 a guaranteed NC? You would still have to play UGA in SEC CG which would for sure not be a guaranteed win and what makes you think you could beat ND like Alabama did. ND wasn't the no.2 team but they were at the very least a top 15 team.

Hell no. That was a magical season during a pretty rough time in the state of Louisiana.
