Did not watch, not going to watch certain babies disrespect the country that gave them a chance. I am sorry for the rest of the athletes that have to put up with them.

NBC and all their advertisers wasted their money on my family and I, and I hope a lot more people as well

side note- I will not even buy anything branded as Olympic (Coke, bread, clothing, etc.)

Damn, good job SEC. I haven’t followed the olympics too closely, what did Kentucky get so many medals in?

Figured UF, TX would be outstanding with A&M, LSU, Arkansas doing well too. But Kentucky’s haul is impressive.

Only saw two instances of this, one by the US women’s soccer team and another, sort of, from a shotput thrower. Everything else was respectful and patriotic from the athletes

A Vandy alum won a bronze for female team track cycling. (We had another Olympian this year in men's golf representing Austria)

Shot put. The discus champion did nothing of the sort.

Excellent showing.

From a patriotic standpoint, the shot put thrower from Ole Miss left something to be desired; otherwise, SEC athletes represented well!

You are correct. Way overblown. The vast, vast majority of the athletes were very Patriotic.

They really need to tell the women's soccer team to quit spoiling it for everyone else. Make your political statements on your own time

Texas A&M’s Annie Kunz’s 6th place finish in the heptathlon should be included in the final medal count, just because.

If Meghan Rapino weren’t on the team, they wouldn’t be acting like that. It’s funny because Rapino’s girlfriend, Sue Bird, doesn’t act like that or try to get the women’s bball team to do so either.

LSU had Sylvia Fowles on the women’s team as well. Think that was her 4th gold medal

Now that it's over, I'm left with just one overwhelming question, does the men's track team actually have a coach?
