I'm proud of yall finally beating us. Sure, we had 6 offensive starters out with injuries. Sure, we win that game comfortably if King is healthy. But the bottom line is that those guys weren't healthy, and yall finally beat us. Congratulations!

I don't see this as excuses though but more a realization where their program is. He thinks they could really compete with their 1s but from a program perspective he's acknowledging our depth is much better since we both had lots of backups playing. He seems to be an aggy that knows his place. At best they might beat us but without that he knew they couldn't compete.
