Congrats to Georgia & Alabama for making it to the SECCG.

This isn’t a perfect system by any means, but I do appreciate the opponent win percentage as part of a tiebreaker.

Anyway - congrats to both teams on a good season and making it to the championship game

Okie will get abused very badly in the playoffs.

I don't play for the team and the players/coaches don't know my name but on behalf of the Crimson Tide, thank you.

Its a very flawed system but not sure a better way to do it.

We need 9 or 10 conference games IF the committee changes their criteria for CFP.

8 games is way too imbalanced (look at aTM this year). Even though on paper ATM scheduled looks good at the beginning of the year it flipped and was a terrible SEC schedule. Just goes to show you never know.

People said the same last year after OSU lost to Michigan. They might surprise you. It's all about the matchups.

Separate into two divisions on a yearly basis using 4-team pods which rotate. Division champions face-off.

It would work and you would still rotate through the teams home and road over a four year cycle.

Thanks! 8 out the last 9 years is something even Saban wasn't able to do. And that includes the NIL era.

I concur

Gonna be a good one

Point spread is basically a coin flip

ETA - Hard to beat the same team twice in a season and Bama seems more banged up than the Dawgs

9 games adds another elimination weekend.

If you think that Sark is groveling now....just wait.

Conference championship games need to die

They will be replaced with Play-in games

#3 SEC vs. #6 SEC
#4 SEC vs. #5 SEC

4 SEC autobids

Going to be interesting to see will the B1G change there schedule format far as being required to play a OCC P4, because i honestly feel they went to 9 games because it’s easier win against those teams vs the possibility of having to play 2 OCC games with an 8 game schedule. So it seems like they wanted to separate themselves from the SEC by going to 9 games given off the perception it’s tougher and a lot of people have bought into it. In this league You won’t see Georgia Bama Texas Oklahoma Ole Miss resting their receivers when they play Kentucky, State or Arkansas.
