The Saban coaching tree are not tough guys at the midfield handshake. Dennis Franchionne wagged his finger in Saban's face threatening to beat Saban's arse and nick backed down.

Well, he has been pretty mouthy late in the season, so it’s entirely possible, but...it’s a lot like Nostradamus...he’s 100% accurate in predicting the future after the fact. I doubt this exchange happened. Gus is more the type to brag afterward than express confidence before.

You've been really good at arguing bullcrap about what does/does not go on at Auburn from completely incorrect premises recently, so congrats on that.
The AU Rivals board is the largest AU message board by far, with boosters/former players/admin/etc on it. People in the athletics department keep track of it. It's also completely awful in regards to how it treats Gus. Most of the people there hate him and want him fired yesterday.
Imagine that environment if the beat writers said that ahead of time to the Bunker, then Gus lost that game.
This has nothing to do with on-the-field "bulletin board" material, so save me the butthurt.

100% fact, that it didn't happen. It wasn't only Auburn beat writers down there in the mix. There are a ton of cameras and reporters in that mix. Funny how only Auburn beat writers are reporting it.
