It's football- not always what seems fair or right
LSU could say they could have easily said the BCS game they lost to BAMA should not have ever been played, after all we beat Bama on their home field, Bama did not win their conference- why should they be in the show that year? They had their chance in a one and done system but because the love that many have for Saban they were given a mulligan on their loss-
Did you think you should get another one this year??????

Do you not think that LSU and Bama were the two best teams in 2011 ? LSU wins in OT by a field goal and OK ST. gets beat setting up the rematch . 21 - 0 says we should have been there .

Auburn fans will never let Bama fans live this one down - not until Alabama returns a field goal attempt 109 yards with one second to win the game and destroy a conference and national title and three beat for auburn.

bama fans (or maybe more specifically, the 85%-ers) are a riot. since the IB, they're crowing even LOUDER how they'd stomp mizzou & FSU, with the added benefit of not actually having to play them, of course .....they sure know how to cover all their bases, huh?

Well at least Bama grabbed a share of the SEC Western Division Title.
Auburn got in to the SEC CG because of the "Head-to-Head" win over Bama.

The last play doesnt bother me. It never really did. Hell, Ive seen it about a bazillion times since then. It was an amazing play, doesnt matter who you are.
What still kind of gets me is the fact that we couldnt put the game away in the last 5 minutes with multiple red zones opportunities. That and the fact that we scored 21 points in the first half with a steady dose of Yeldon and Drake, and only scored 7 in the second half while not giving Drake the ball once.
At the end of the day, it really isnt that big of a deal. It is a game played by college kids. I'm smiling right now, and I was smiling after the game, in Auburn. Life is good.

Bama backed in to the first two title games, so who cares? It would have been a very tainted 3peat, and would only go down as anything special because Colt McCoy got hurt in 2009 so it could get tethered to 4 in 5.
