Concerning Auburn, GA

I see that a lot on here, but to be honest, it seems the other way around.
This area seems more like an extension of Alabama than part of Georgia.
I see far more Auburn and Alabama fans around here in W Georgia than I do UGA fans.
The Columbus area is close to Auburn (30 miles), but that doesn't explain all the Bama stickers here. For those who've been here a while, has it always been this way, or is just due to them winning so much lately?

Look at the socio economic data and you'll easily see why there are so many "bama stickers" there.

There's an orange and blue house five miles from here. I'll take a pic later to argue your point.

Most Auburn fans are busy pulling each other's intestines out and throwing feces at each other. They blink a lot too. They're wild man.

Yea, because we all know poor people are drawn to Alabama and intellectuals are drawn to Auburn.

I'm in Phenix City and it seems to be about equally split three ways. It surprised me when I moved down here. Auburn fans were way more vocal when they were winning. From recent experiences they're beat down and no fun when Auburn loses. Unlike Bama fans who seem to think every game is a win, l
Very perceptive, something I had never thought of. And you are correct. Though I saw it as every game is of dire importance to Bama. And football is covered year round in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. Bama ball is unique. Great post!!

Looks at clemson's only 2 coaches to win a natty, can't get over the fact they are both likely bama fans.

A lot of locals in Columbus are too stupid to get into UGA, so AU is the fallback plan. Bama dick riding also abounds in Ctown.
Whole lot of dumb frickery down here.

I used to live in Auburn, GA so this thread is moot.

I don't think that's exclusive to Columbus. There are dumbasses all over this state.
Columbus High churns out outstanding students that can go anywhere they want. One of the top high schools in the nation.
