Let's bridge the gap a bit here. Here is a starting lineup, with stats and NFL awards, for just the starters/regulars on the 2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama teams. The only areas where there isn't NFL starter level talent are offensive tackle, defensive line and punter (to be fair, neither of these teams needed a punter).

Some positions have so many guys that you can't list all of them - WR specifically.

- 2 NFL Off/Def Players of the Year
- 10x All-Pro selections
- 20x Pro Bowl selections
- 1x Rookie of the Year
- 10 guys that made all rookie teams

Arguably the top player(s) in the NFL currently at QB, WR, CB. Incredible.

I didn’t know Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, or Lamar Jackson played for 2019 LSU/ 2020 Alabama

Only correction I would make is substituting Breiden Fehoko for Rashard Lawrence because Lawrence is out of the league and Fehoko is on the Steelers.

I didn’t realize Dickerson was doing that good. I loved that guy when he played here.

Him going in at the end of the title game with bum knee was a tearjerker.

Mac Jones is the backup to the QB that bitch slapped Alabama in the natty by 4 TDs

Thank God that Joe Burrow and Daddy LSU cleaned up that mess the very next year after beating Alabama's "revenge team", at Alabama, in front of a sitting US President

Chaisson is technically a LB, but for all practical purposes is a pass rushing DE

Mississippi State beat Jackson in a bowl game, so it’s not a huge accomplishment, lol.

I don't think what the players did after they leave the schools matters.

It's a team sport and they should be measured based on what they did on the field as a team. Not their individual awards, not what they did later in their career, or any of that.

What they did as a team in the year they played.

I remember seeing graphics about the 2011 NCG where it was like almost every person on both sides of the ball were draft picks and future NFL players. Tons of talent, but in the end what matters is how they played as a team.

BAMA is 12-2 vs lsu since 9 Jan 2012.
In Lsu's 2 wins, they won by a combined 6 points.

But the 2019 LSU team would beat the 20 bama team by 2 TDs

There’s only 1 GOAT. The 20 Bama team might crack the top 10
