what has been denied?
that a bank owned by one of our boosters is being investigated?
i think it's been common knowledge for a while
what is denied is that it has anything at all whatsoever to do with football

So Bobby Lowder doesnt have anything to do with Auburn Football now? Or are you saying he didnt have anything to do with Colonial Bank?
Just asking, because it seems like everyone down here in South Alabama, (Former Colonial bank now BB&T employees, and Auburn Alumni have said for years he rules both with an iron fist? I am not saying it as a fact your fellow Auburn Alumni sure as hell are. They really hates his arse btw, I have never meet him.

BTW, to answer your question, an investigation into Colonial Bank has nothing to do with Auburn football.

After all these days of waiting. The other shoe finally dropped
It was a good run for us. If only we hadn't been giving sub prime mortgages.

Well, I promised not to post on ATPB, will you make the same agreement and only post there... Now Tut, we all know the person in charge of that division and Louders right hand man, is none other than Young Boozer (big time Alabama booster), whose Dad was a legend at Alabama... So is he in trouble? Louder may be a crook, some of his money may come from fradulent loans, but that means nothing when it comes to Auburn...

This is the thread where Auburn fans deny any connection between Auburn football and Colonial Bank. Things have changed a lot in 20 years after all. Pat Dye is no longer involved in Auburn football and Bobby Lowder resigned as CEO of Colonial back in 1992.

seeing pat dye at the SEC Championship and BCS Game, it's amazing to me people think he's brokering back room deals to swimg a few thousand dollars to sign recruits.... the guy looks like he's got one foot in the grave.

He does, however, look like a man prone to losing his pants in a lake and not remembering anything about it.
