Absolutely.. he’s been playing baseball how long? And he did it intentionally, you know he did he was on the line and moved inside when he saw where Elco was set up. It was the interference by the book.
Now saying that, any run that crosses before the interference, should count ( imo). But that’s not the rule.

I HATE ou almost as much as I hate the taliban, but that was a garbage arse call.
What should have been reviewed was the play before. Looked like to me that the 1st baseman held the bag on the strikeout after the catcher dropped strike three.

A better written rule would be if the runner exceeds the physical base on the left they are out. If they stay inside the base they are safe
