I was hoping for a donnybrook at the end.

Vanderbilt could be good for a competition of fisticuffs but it would take to long to explain to the Line Beards what it meant. Also, the art of fisticuffs would be about rules and Line Beards are just rule breakers.
When Charlie Strong was at Louisville he had a 5 point sign that included no guns at practice and not to beat up women. How bad is your program if you have to tell folks this stuff?

Sorry if already discussed, why does Corbin wear a batting helmet?
Because his mentor Jacklegg wore one.....Jack Leggett always insisted on coaching from 3B when clemson was batting, so he wore the hard shell caps to keep from getting dinged in the head with a liner, and having some sense knocked into him. Does Corbin coach from 3B too?

I saw that, but also saw the umps giving Vandy a good tongue lashing...was there something that maybe Vandy did that provoked the pitcher to go off? It seems odd that he lost his shite since he'd had a great inning, not allowing anyone on base.
I think it was just douche-mode. Even before he started running his mouth around the 4th-5th innings, he was making hand motions to the Vandy batters that he struck out, giving them back-handed waves as they were turning to the dugout, with 3 fingered gestures.
He was doing this pretty much starting the 2nd inning - the 1st inning, I don't remember seeing that, but by the 2nd-3rd inning, the ESPN announcers were starting to notice his actions....

Corbs coached the Blue Hose before the taters.
Taters were to dumb not to keep him so now Dores reaping the benefits

If there is a rested baseball team it should be Michigan. Geez.

Applying the tag is a lost skill in baseball. Including, if not especially, in the bigs.

Surely, you Vandy fans saw this coming with Fellows vs. this hot, Michigan lineup, right?

Checking in to say good luck to Vandy as I drink a cold one on the beach in South Walton.
