We’re down on the coast with the grandkids and I’m sitting in the shade taking a break. A middle-aged lady comes up to me and shouts OMGosh are you a Sigma Chi (I’m wearing a ball cap with the shield & cross)?! I stood up and said yes ma’am and she introduces herself, shakes my hand and tells me her husband is a Sigma Chi and she was a little sister both at Baylor. Told her I went to Arkansas and we had a good visit.

Off to the side, a few feet away was a younger teenaged girl walking by wearing a burnt orange hat. She proceeded to give us a “hook’em” sign.

Gotta love it!

HOW BIG OF A LOSER DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO BE WEARING YOUR FRAT LETTERS/SYMBOLS ON THE BEACH?

Please tell me you aren't anywhere near 30a.

I’d have hollered catch then bounced a whiffle off your forehead.

Ah, frick you boys. I’m 71 and pulled out a hat I could wear in the drink. If you’re not a Sigma Chi, I understand why this would upset you.

The Sigma Chis at my undergraduate college were all supposedly gay, but I’m guessing that doesn’t apply to all Sigma Chis.

Mostly correct. BUT…you still feel the same way when you find out he’s 71? he’s past the dbag stage. makes his own rules. respect. take a beat playa.

My experience is people who get worked up and make fun of frats are people who lived a very boring college experience. Why do people care one way or the other of people were in a frat or not. Having a stance either way is gay
