They're calling racists racist.
Why does that offend you, I wonder.
It isn't offensive to me at all. I think most people are racist to a certain extent, and liberals don't care about racism anyway or we wouldn't have any ghettos in the cities they control. Racism exists because liberals need it to exist for them to have any success at the ballot box.
So go ahead and call me racist for not supporting BLM, but if you would like to stroll your white arse down MLK Blvd on a Friday night I will show you some racism.

No sh it Sherlock... Nothing but crappy games so far. It willpick up some incoming weeks butmake no mistake the overall TVrankings will be down with no Big10 or PAC12. If Big10 comes back it will pickup - lots of NE TV markets

For more watchable matchups that will likely have better ratings?
I watched enough of Clemson to see how bad Wake's defense was. Watched a little bit of Duke/ND while it was still competitive then turned that off. And watched some of FSU/GT, since it was at least competitive. I flipped around to everything else because there wasn't any matchup that really stuck out as a must watch.

Ratings are always down when Podunk U is the opponent.

WHAT?! Ratings for a meaningless exhibition season that likely won't even be completed might drop?! CRAZY

Prepare yourselves. Even college football with SEC starting play next week will be down big time. It's already being reported as a dud for last week and this week.
Yeah you’ll be surprised. “It just means more” might sound kinda dumb but it really does down here.

I enjoyed watching football this weekend. The Big12 games where they wet the bed was great watches. Watching FSU lose another home opener was the icing on the cake. Seeing the fans in the stands with a wtf look on their faces were priceless. I didn’t notice any social justice messages. We’re there any? I damn sure don’t care. If you don’t care, you won’t see it.
And my Browns stunk up the joint yesterday. One of the most inept displays of football by 1 team in my lifetime. Turnovers, penalties, fake punt in the 1st quarter, a 3rd and 41, damn the team to hell. So, yes life is getting back to normal and my Browns still suck.

I'm asking this in the most honest, non-trolling way possible. What is the Marxist part of BLM/unity/whatever agenda.
I don't necessarily agree with everything players are protesting for but I don't see a communist/Marxist bent to any of it. I just want to know if there is something about it I'm not getting or if it's just a vague buzzword. Like how anything the government does is instantly socialism or how some on the furthest left call anyone not agreeing with them The Establishment.

The ratings have been down because the matchups suck.
That isn't the only reason, was it was certainly a factor this past weekend.

Every professional sports league is currently playing, and there is some new sign of impending Armageddon with every news cycle. Not shocked that typical CFB viewers are distracted.
Expect to see an uptick as:
1. more notable matchups are played
2. non-fall pro leagues finish up their seasons
3. the election ends and the media gives us 3 years of peace before trying to make us hate each other again

Not a factor. Even fewer people are watching that.

It's definitely a factor, just not the only one

LOL. No. Which pro sports are going on right now that aren't usually going on? The NBA? Fewer people than ever are watching that crap.

it's definitely getting old seeing the same 5-6 teams in the playoffs every year.
There’s a way to add different teams. But it requires different teams to actually win some games and stop stinking up the joint

yet game 5 of a non-competitive foregone conclusion series still pulled 2.5M viewers on cable
ETA: Going directly up against the NFL Kickoff

The Clemson game on ABC had 2.99M viewers. That is more than hockey on NBC and baseball on Fox combined. NCIS drew 1.99M. With all of the problems and with Clemson vs Wake being a yawner, CFB still crushed the competition.

They were all dud games. Only a hardcore fan would have watched any of the games that have aired so far this season.
You're comparing a Clemson vs. Wake Forest blowout to last seasons's LSU at Texas. Of course ratings will be down.
Guess what? They'll be down again this week and down again the week after when the SEC plays the weakest slate of games all season.
Once October hits, ratings for the SEC games will increase and be on par with past seasons. I don't think ABC will be able to hit typical ratings until if/when the Big 10 starts playing.
