Here is my experience going to OU/TX games.

When I was in college I went to four of them - the Peter Gardere years. After each there were Texas fans chanting OU sucks and even had a guy throw the horns a few inches from one of our faces.

Next two OU/TX games OU again lost. One was the year Rickey Williams and Demond Parker were tearing it up. The next was Stoops's first year where we blew a 17 point lead. Again, constant OU sucks chants as we were leaving the stadium.

Finally, in 2010 I attended a game where OU won. I expected to experience OU fans talking trash and yelling Texas Sucks after the game. After going 0-6 on my first six games, I was disappointed to see OU fans simply leaving the stadium.

As a side point, that year we blew the 17 point lead, one older Texas man came up to me and said, "Don't worry. Stoops is a good coach and he'll get rid of that gimmicky offense." Yep, that gimmicky offense that put of 63 on your butts the next year en route to the national title.

95% of opposing fans in real life are just normal people going to a football game, regardless of what team they cheer for. I very rarely have negative experiences with opposing fans, to be honest, even rival fans.

I had the opposite experience with West Virginia fans at that game. Only away game I’ve ever been to where the home team fans shook our hands and thanked us for coming.

Clemson- nice campus.nice fans. Stadium sucks
Vandy- just there
Kentucky nice fans, bourbon smell strong
Tennersee- ugly arse orange.Fans Ok if winning, otherwise they throw mustard
Carolina cocks- down in Columbia. Railroad cars, blah blah. Chicken crowing on intercom not cool.
Georgia- wins Drunk Gameday Bitch award. Not friendly and bark in your face
Alabama- flea market outside stadium. WORST FANs, Female> Male. Band needs to learn new songs. Fake elephant sound not cool.
Auburn- friendly fans, families tailgating w kids and dogs.
Ole Miss-fine looking women w drunk frat boy husbands.
Miss state-too many cowbells. Ugly stadium.
LSU- another drunk bitch venue. Great tailgates
Texas A&M- campus looks too military, but very helpful, nice students. Stadium awesome
Texas- Austin is weird and woke.
Oklahoma- band needs to play another song
Arkansas- nice fans, ditch the plastic pig hats.
Missouri- never been

Whatever... this has been the Aggie facade for decades. They're nice to you because you don't mean anything.

They save it up for one school. Always been that way. They go from Jeckyl to Hyde when big brother shows up. And it ain't even pretty.

Nothing brings out the worst like envy.

I've never had an issue interacting with opposing fans. From what I've noticed over the years, as long as your aren't an obnoxious loudmouth, opposing fans will be nice to you. Everyone is at the game to have a good time.

Arkansas during liberty bowl was mostly decent

Oklahoma fans are alright

Kansas St fans are delusional

Texas fans I hate about as much as missouri

missouri fans are the only ones who have thrown garbage at me

I hear West Virginia fans are really bad, they actually do throw piss balloons beyond the joke
