College basketball is the dumbest sport

Just watched OU beat Michigan. I stopped watching around the Blake Griffin years mostly bc of the amount of stupid fouls called in the sport. I watched both OU and Michigan have wide open layups with zero contact and have fouls called repeatedly. How does anyone enjoy this crap?

I remember the OU dynasty days when they had Championship football and basketball teams in the same academic years.

It's better now than it was a few years ago when teams like Wisconsin & Virginia could just assault the opposing offense & win games by only scoring 46 points.

I don't get it either. It's complete crap.
When penalties become the overriding aspect of a game - you have no game.
The game was designed for 5'8" gomers to shoot the ball. Now it's 7 feet telephone poles fighting for position under the hoop.
Raise the goal and make 'em shoot from the court. It would reduce fouls and be more entertaining.
But of course not.
