Auburn has to be the most Hot and Cold team I've ever seen...

Depends on which team shows up. The manic or depressive one.

Projected as a regional host if not a national seed but perfect game has us at 20. Riiiiiiiiight

Wonder how it will affect things if UGA-Arkansas series is cancelled this weekend. Supposed to be non stop thunderstorms in Athens starting tomorrow (so Presbyterian game will probably be cancelled which is actually a win for our RPI) running through Sunday

After a bit of a slow start Florida has been red hot. It looks like Ole Miss and Arkansas will be battling it out for the SEC West down to the wire. I hate to say it but I think Ole Miss has the inside track on this race. They get an Alabama team that has been woeful and have the tie break over Arkansas while the Hogs have to go on the road to play Georgia.
A great season for SEC basketball even with traditional powerhouses like LSU and USC having a down year by their standards. LSU looks like they've managed to turn things around down the home stretch though, winning 5 out of their last 6 and should be a dangerous team to find lurking in your regional. South Carolina should be in the NCAAs with their record but probably want to finish strong to make sure.
Shaping up to be an exciting final weekend.

We haven't lost a series since Arkansas a month ago so we gotta come back down to Earth sometime.

Easy fix. Let's just move the series to Fayetteville. You can still be the home team. Wink wink.

Even though it pains me to say this, I don’t think anyone would want to play an unranked state team right now. They’ve overcome a lot and play with that chip here lately. That team has “upset someone” written all over them.
Also to add, I think it’s great that so many SEC teams have a chance at the postseason. I could care less if the other conferences get upset about so many SEC teams that can play. They just need to step up or shut up. Can’t help our conference loves all of our sports and want to be the best.
Also good luck to everyone in the Softball tourney. Glad to see everyone get in. I think we should watch out for South Carolina softball coming out of their bracket with how they are playing right now. Didn’t mean to talk about two different sports in one post. Just kinda happened.

The series against y’all was one of the best in a long time. Awesome games from the players and also both fanbases. It would be nice to sweep or at least win the series with Bama, but our pitching can be bipolar at times. We have to win with the bats. Even though Feigl pitched an unreal game this weekend. We have to have consistent pitching every weekend. I just hope they are up for the challenge this weekend and not take Bama lightly. It’s baseball, and especially SEC, anyone can win on any certain day. That’s what makes our conference great.

Is the Kentucky-Vanderbilt series essentially deciding which team gets into the tournament assuming neither gets to semi's?
Both 13-14, Kentucky's RPI obviously much higher right now.

UK should be safe at 14-16 with an RPI in the teens. Vandy needs to win the series, no doubt. Even if they do and finish with a win 15-15, their sub-par ooc record and RPI in the 30s is scary.

LSU needs to win 2/3 at Auburn OR win 1-2 games in the SEC tournament.

Yeah Vandy needs to finish 15-15 to avoid being on the wrong side of the bubble. Even with that, 6-9 over the last 15 regular season games would certainly be something that the committee would notice.
