With y’alls record at home I’d sooner just have 3 less games...

If it’s cancelled it could hurt Arkansas depending on how Ole Miss does. The West title would be determined by win pct. even more with Arkansas having 3 less games.

Hopefully we can get them in. We are already down 2 games overall on the season.

question about the UGA-Arky series:if it is cancelled, how will it affect the SECT? Meaning UGA is one game ahead of USC in the standings and depending how the weekend played out, USC could have potentially stolen the 4th bye spot from the Bulldogs. Anyone know what cancelling the final series does in terms of the 4 team bye?

Arkansas has a top 4 locked up, so I haven’t really looked into it that much. It will be on win percentages though, not total wins for seeding if games are canceled.

If games are canceled, SC could have the same amount of wins as UGA, or one more, but be below in win pct.

If it's win % and games are cancelled, we'd have to sweep the Aggies on the road.

That’s what I’m wondering. UGA owns the tie breaker over South Carolina and would in this case be stuck at a .593 winning percentage. Unless y’all sweep A&M we would theoretically be locked into that 4th spot

It will definitely be win pct., I know that much. I just haven’t put the numbers together to see each win/loss scenario for SC to get 2nd in the East.

They’re a game back now so they’d have to sweep A&M on the road to jump us assuming we don’t play any games this week

Problem for us is that we’d basically be sitting around for a week and a half not playing if we get the bye. Can’t practice outside either so we’d have to practice on turf in the IPF

What's the logic behind UF and UGA moving? Both teams moved up after UF took the series with 2-1.

If No. 11 South Carolina sweeps unranked A&M we will be 18-12 (.600) and UGA will be 15-11 (.593) so we will have the higher winning pct.

Florida got the series win over a top 10 squad and UGA got a win over number 1 while losing the clinching game by 1 run in the 9th on the road. Really close series

Well if you’re a regional host you would be top 16 right? So being ranked 20 isn’t that far off.

Wonder how it will affect things if UGA-Arkansas series is cancelled this weekend. Supposed to be non stop thunderstorms in Athens starting tomorrow (so Presbyterian game will probably be cancelled which is actually a win for our RPI) running through Sunday

They will get in a minimum of 2.

Well it’s a 90% chance of storms from now until Sunday in Athens and the Braves have a home series so we can’t move it to Suntrust and the tournament starts on Tuesday so short of moving the series to Fayetteville which would colossally screw over uga since we haven’t played at home since April 29th, what do you propose?
