Colin Cowherd has made his pick... It follows logic.

I know he's clickbait at times but his thoughts are straight-forward on this game and he has some good data to back it up...

quote:

“There is in fact no proof that Georgia can be competitive against Alabama. I’m going to put it out there. I’m taking Bryce Young and Nick Saban,” he said on today’s episode of The Herd.

He goes on to give multiple examples of teams (using the NFL where better parity exists), who've beaten the same team twice or even three times in a season w/ playoffs.

1980 is real.

Twatter -- Colin Cowhurd sees the error of his ways.. Provides compelling argument against UGA

EDIT:

Sir Charles feels the opposite... LOL

Charles Barkley on Twatter being begged not to choose UGA

This has been the funniest time I can remember - where both teams (at least their fans) want to be the underdog and not be perceived overconfident.

You can't be serious??? Right now the wind (or sports windbags) are all pulling for Georgia.

Come on. Honestly? You honestly believe most people think Georgia is going to win?

Georgia fans don't even think Georgia is going to win.

We hope. But we don't really believe we will.

You are 3 point favorites, so the obvious answer is...yes people do.

Cowherd’s takes on college football aren’t the best.

How the heck does Cowherd get paid? I know his show is content filler between commercials, but there can't be more than a handful of listeners, can there be?

But in this case, he's highly logical in his pick.

Most prognosticators have picked UGA for the very reason Cowherd is giving proof doesn’t matter. Rematches favor the better team not the winner or loser of the first game. Booger said basically the same thing. The only other one I’ve seen pick Bama is Finebaum.

Brother, why find an article to convince anyone as a fan of the greatest college football dynasty ever that your team will win? Whats the worst thing that can happen if they don’t?
Just for the record, I don’t expect UGA to win considering the teams have equal talent, bama has by far the better qb and receivers, they are built to beat UGA. I expect Georgia (who imho is far and away the 2nd best team in the nation)will give them their best shot and leave it on the field. And just maybe, if there is a God above, they will find some way to finally win one. If not, I hope they make the tide bleed and scratch tooth and nail to earn it. As a fan that’s all I can ask for.

Who cares who the talking heads are picking, this fake bravado disrespect is a joke.

I cannot argue with the logic. Kirby has never beaten Saban and, until he does, I think everyone should pick Bama. They should be favored by 14 at least.

Correct me if I am wrong. Weren't we favorites the first time? And, Las Vegas does not = people. They are trying to get people to jump on bets.
