I hate Bama as much as the next guy, but I hate Georgia too. I'm pulling for Bama to keep the meme alive. That's my only reason.

Well - it seems to me, you really don't know what you are talking about. Why? Because almost all of the talking heads are picking Georgia. And Colin is by far in the minority. THIS makes his opinion UNpopular.

Yes, 6 point favorites the first time instead of 3 this time.
And you have no idea how Vegas works obviously.
Vegas does = people(or more accurately, peoples money). Vegas makes money on the vig, not on the bets.
The lines move depending on how people bet. If more people are betting on Alabama than Georgia, the line will move down and eventually Alabama would be the favorite.
The line moves to cover their arse and to cause betting on both sides. If the betting is even, then the line won't move.
Meaning, not only are people putting money on Georgia to win, they are doing it while giving Alabama 3 points.
There are other factors that can move the line, but they aren't happening here.
