Wish we could swap places with Georgia. I don't like being No. 1 unless it's in the final poll.

Texas A@M starting at 7 with a new qb and a coach who averages 7-8 wins a season ….. happens every year ….. get a good look A@M fans you are not getting any higher than this …. You at lose your first game to a team that went 11-1 last year

Oklahoma starts at 9 when they have a head coach that’s never been a head coach. Your head coach and QB1 and QB2 left for greener pastures.

Last year OU almost lost 6 games to shite teams but just out-talented those teams for a W. This won’t happen this year.

I also know that you whine about UGA’s schedule every year, yet we’ve finished Top 20 in SOS every year since 2017 and on average have had a tougher schedule than Bama during that span.

You know that’s disingenuous. First of all, I haven’t said a word about UGA’s schedule until last year. Second, you know those averages don’t mean shite for either team, as it takes into account Championship and playoff appearances, which is largely why Bama’s 2019 number is so low.

Well one thing is obvious. BK didn’t go to LSU to win a natty. Just went to collect a pot full of swamp money.

The new QB we start with is guaranteed to be better than we had last year.

Jimbo has averaged 9.75 wins over his career, not 7-8. Even just at A&M, despite having played 4 fewer games than would be typical, he's averaging 8.5 wins per year, not 7-8.

OU's head coach has literally never won a single game as head coach.

This place is going to implode when we go 10-2. It'll be a fun place to be. See yall around.

All I know is our defense is going to be lights out. I reserve thoughts on final record improvements until we see who the hell is QB1. A&M has every other position to compete. LB depth is the only weakness outside of QB, at least talent wise.

Yep. And the only injury that would truly derail us is an injury at LBer. So much depth, so much talent, so much to prove.

Edit: Injuries at offensive tackle might really hurt, too.

How is Franklin keeping his job at Penn State? Unbelievable that State College folks put up with that.

The gap between the East and West isn’t quite as big as you seem to think.

Last year I think the West was only slightly better. In 2018 the East was arguably straight up better.

So given the fact that our OOC schedule is considerably tougher every year, I’d say the difference between Bama and Georgia’s schedule is almost negligible.

Based on what metric? Georgia Tech hasn’t had a pulse in over a decade.

“Lance Leipold, Kansas;”

Now we know where tx vote came from - he is thinking ahead how great their 3 in a row will be over a team that got #1 votes

you can’t be serious.

Since Kirby was hired, Alabama has scheduled:

7-5 Miami
5-7 Duke
2-10 Louisville
6-6 Florida State
9-3 USC

and Georgia has scheduled:

9-3 Clemson
10-2 Notre Dame
8-4 North Carolina
9-3 Notre Dame
