They actually somehow got 143 votes. The coaches preseason poll is usually a shitshow because everyone puts themselves really high and is conference biased.
Hell, Auburn got 98 votes and their win total is 6.5 this year.

They’ve got some legit talent in their starting 22. As good or better than anyone - at least from a recruiting ranking perspective. Won 10 games last year, ranked in the Top 10 defensively - and return a dominating defensive line. They return 4 OL, their QB, and their top 3 RBs.
Oh, and they don’t play anyone with a pulse. They are the UGA of the ACC. Stacked roster with no real challenge for most of the season.
