They still should not receive first team votes over teams that have played 4-5 games with 1-2 ranked wins. That’s dumb.

Like I said....you get the benefit of the doubt sometimes, but sometimes they work out. I think Alabama
acquitted themselves both times.

After last night A&M has a better resume than UGA.
Two very good examples of why the polls shouldn’t exist until about week 5 or 6. Honestly, that is one of the things the BCS and CFP did correctly.
Teams who haven’t played shouldn’t be considered. And aTm currently has a better resume than UG.

While I agree with your sentiments, I like ND being ranked top 4... if Alabama can play the rest of the season as last night UA will make the CFP. Then ND would make easy fodder for the cannons. I’ve hated ND since 12/31/1973 and hope they muddle in mediocrity as long as possible. I loved the 80’s because I was in my 20’s and had a great time, but 1988 is a blight on my exuberant young adulthood. 2012 was my favorite season because UA fricked ND in the championship game. Hard. Sideways. With no lube. Then punched their throat so they couldn’t scream.
