Totally different game now with NIL and portal. Nobody is hanging on to a coach for 7 years on a prayer he will be Frank Beamer in a shitty conference.

I agree but Pittman hasn’t fallen off a cliff, he’s gone to 2 bowls at Arkansas in 5 years. He’s underwhelmed but brought some stability to a program that was on the verge of becoming a constant bottom dweller after a decade of coaching incompetence. I’m not even taking the stance that he’s going to be Great for y’all, we will see if he picks up momentum from Tennessee. That’s easily his biggest win for Arkansas since he’s been there.

I think a lot of hawgs would tell me to keep Pittman luke warm. Maybe I overreacted with his win.

Yeah I see you were talking Pittman and Arkansas. Sort of like USC, would keep him with a winning record.

But, if there is a coach available that’s an upgrade for Arkansas, they also shouldn’t let that slip away. The way they invested in the basketball and baseball staffs makes me think Arkansas is in good position to hire a good football coach too, low risk guy.

A 3 loss Bama team could get him in danger of being fired from that fan base

There will be overreaction from the lunatic fringe but believe it or not, most Bama fans realized that it could take a minute for DeBoer to get his feet under him. Now if he loses three games next year, well that's just a different thing.

Pitman is on a warm seat still

Beating Tenn is nice but they need to win a couple more good games to cool his arse off

Bama hasn't lost three games in a season since 2010.

Sark. Texans can’t handle losing. The YouTube crying and hugging video exposed them for just how bad.

He is 4-2 right now with four games at home. No excuses he can't win six games.

Pittmans seat is not as hot as some dumbass Arkansas fans think it is.

He has hired two great cordinators and we need to ride with the results we get. We could easily be 6-0 right now. You cant fire a coach at Arkanass that has us in this position.

The Tenner win wasnt a fluke. They didnt commit a bunch of TOs that kept us in it. We shut that O down on all but two drives. Our O could and should have easlity had 14 more.

Pittman isn’t ice cold. The only reason he’s not fired is because the AD and board are cheap.

If you don't see what happened, I feel for you. It is increasingly obvious that Pittman is just a figure head and this was the only "ethical" way to bring in Petrino again.

Clark Lea was rumored to be on the hot seat heading into this season. That seat has cooled significantly.

Jeff Lebby is getting warm. Yes we need to rebuild but a 1-11 or 2-10 season won’t be acceptable under any circumstances

His seat would still be hot if Arkansas lost last Saturday. That win saved the season and that made the path to bowl eligibility easier now. Once he gets to the sixth win then his job is safe.

He seems to set a pattern of taking over talented teams and leaving the cupboard bare.

Ok and? They just completed the greatest 15 year run in college football history. I think people don’t understand how significant that sustained level of consistent dominance was.

I don’t think there’s a single program that has won 10 regular season games every year for the last 15 seasons. It’s a ridiculous benchmark to set. A first year coach going 9-3 shouldn’t warrant alarms.

Ohio State came close. OSU has had only one season since 2004 which it did not win 10 games and even then it was the fault of an overzealous NCAA.

It is ridiculous but that is what they expect in Tuscaloosa. They have such high expectations that it is rare to find any coach that can satisfy the whining from the fans.

Its impressive. Ohio state is top 5 program. It’s not the same as winning 10 games every year in the SEC in the 21st century.

Until last season Ohio State was only team in Big10 to win a championship in 21st century. The SEC has 5 different national champions in 21st century. 60% of the national champions in the 21st century is from the SEC, 8% is from Big10. The schedules aren’t comparable. Still impressive though.
