He had it made at Washington. Go to the playoffs every 3-4 years at a program with lower expectations in a conference that has an easier path to the playoffs.
Obviously he did it for more money and not job security.

Arkansas is 4-2. Two more wins and his seat is frozen.

In 2 years DeBoer will be fired. There is no way that guy is winning more than 9 games a year when he’s at Bama
IN OVER HIS HEAD
I agreed with BK being the HC you just got the name wrong.

Outside of an off the field issue, Freeze and DeBoer have no risk of being fired for at least two more years.

It’s refreshing to see coaches get 3 years before getting canned. For a while, it seemed it was 2 years and out at some schools.

I’m cool with paying your admin to fire Pittman to come back to UGA and be the OLine coach. Please send emails to them to fire his arse
Sam’s next move is to his retirement home on the lake. He’s done after this.

Good luck, he’s close to retirement.

Sam needs to ride Landon Jackson and his starting DL until the wheels fall off.

Shane Beamer went from sitting on a memory foam cushion to squating over a bed of fricking coals.

Our dline is doing well, Jackson hasn’t really stood out to me, but our secondary has me happier than I’ve been in a while. They have done a great job so far and we aren’t getting burned like we are used to. Hat’s off to twill for addressing this problem…

Resources as well. His recruiting was mid at washington bc of this.

Pittman is solid and big mistake to fire.
Posted on 10/9/24 at 11:10 pm to ColoradoElkHerd
No, Pittman is nice, a little too nice to fire. Whenever Arkansas moves on, they need to move on to the new hire quickly bc the outside world will be pissed they fired a nice guy.

If Brian Kelly loses this weekend the rumbling will start again.
Brian Kelly hasn’t won more than 9 games in the regular season at LSU yet.
Kelly said this was the season he should be judged on. He will be. If he finishes with less than 10 regular season wins this year there will be some vocal calls for a new coach.

Cant believe no Beamer sighting. His second OC hire is an absolute trainwreck like the first and his O-line coach is the worst in the country. Combine that with his tragic in game decusion making he is roasting. Should of hired Chadwell.

Pittman isn’t ice cold. The only reason he’s not fired is because the AD and board are cheap.
Ppl jump the gun too early now a days. Which is understandable, it’s a massive business and everyone wants to win.
Frank Beamer didn’t go to a bowl until his 6th year. And then proceeded to average 10 wins a year for the next 19 seasons at historically shitty program Virginia Tech. Played for a national title.
Arkansas use to be an above average team that occasionally competed for the west and has fallen into bottom dweller status in the last decade. Now, am I saying Tennesse win means Pittman is going to turn it all around and become the Frank Beamer for the hogs? No, but I can also see why he shouldn’t have been fired yet. He’s somewhat righted the ship a tad even if he has disappointed. See where he goes from the Tennesee win. That was huge for his tenure at Arkansas.

Totally different game now with NIL and portal. Nobody is hanging on to a coach for 7 years on a prayer he will be Frank Beamer in a shitty conference.
Posted on 10/9/24 at 11:51 pm to PappyGarcia
Well maybe USC will, but no school that is actually concerned with winning.

You do not want to follow a legend like Saban at Bama.
Nobody wants to follow after legends in any position. Anyone hitting the panic button on Deboar is premature ejaculating. Transitions under new coach are never completely smooth. Meyer inherited a loaded Florida team and went 9-3, got absolutely annihilated by Bama and ppl were saying he wasn’t cut out for the SEC. Won a ship the next year. DeBoer could go 9-3 this year and I wouldn’t hit the panic button. The SEC is a hard conference to transition to. He’s a good coach and won everywhere he’s been.

Cant believe this is a topic. First world problems. Come do a stint in Columbia or Starkville.
