Mississippi State always has a good record against non-SEC schools, but against SEC schools, not so much. They often give us a good game. However, they hardly ever win. 38 - 14 LSU.

You should be scared, because the SECr wants you to be.

Very eloquent.

I hope you're not too stupid to realize that bama hasn't beaten the Patriots, either. Though many of you think they can. As long as bama doesn't beat themselves or get cheated by the refs.

Let's put this in perspective. There are only four active coaches in cfb that even have a championship ring.

There were only four at the beginning of last year, and LSU fired one of them. The odds of O being as good or better than Miles are slim, at best.

But yes, LSU should never have to worry about beating MSU.

LSU fans aren't scared of Mississippi State, yet at the same time if you let your guards down and think they will be an easy W, then you're out of your minds. This is SEC football. Any team can beat any other team, and Mississippi State is capable of beating us. I still think LSU wins though.

Why do people always say this. It doesn't matter what LSU does or what posters here say, SEC ranters will always say that LSU pumps their chests up every year.

It's bullshite.

You don't hear State fans running around screaming how they're the best in the SEC though do you?

Where have LSU fans said that? Going to need a link.

Regardless of mindset what has MSU shown against decent competition that makes you think they have a chance. Didn't LSU run them out of the stadium last year?

Even if you prescribe to the narrative that Coach O is an idiot, I don't think anyone can argue that his coordinators are elite and he seems to be staying out of their way. As long as they're both in Baton Rouge and LSU continues to recruit at their current level, we're in good shape.

Judging by thr SEC rants reaction we are not the ones that are scared. Everyone here knows when we get a good offense we are going to take back control of the West

Sorry to break it to y'all guys... y'all are not a elite

This is just false. LSU has had a very good run starting with Saban. LSU was a bottom feader during Dinardo and Curly. LSU has also dominated Miss St over the last decade.

None of that is relevant to this season.

This is an LSU dominated message board and most topics will be about a team being great or a dumpster fire.

As an average LSU fan Im not going start a thread saying, I dont know what to expect against Miss St. We could win big, we could lose big who knows. New coaches and no quality opponents.

Moo St will give us the first realistic look at how good or bad we will be.

The fact that there is a ton of topics started by LSU fans about owning the Moos means that they are encouraged by what they saw in the 1st 2 games.

We had 2 different game plans on offense. Miles, the later year was: run the ball, if that doesnt work try running the ball. Rinse and repeat.

TLDR

LSU unknown due to new coaches
Fans very excited and letting the internet know
