Yall going to count the ones he gets at Bama when he fired, for the LSU dynasty dying next year, and Saban hires him as an analyst.

You as an LSU fan should know better. USC did not win the National championship in 2003.

I was about to point that out

However, it was probably obvious to most that USC was the bona fide No. 1 team in the country in 2004

He's a national title winning head coach at LSU. You really think we care what his role was with Miami in the 80s?

That's absurd. Everyone here knows good and fricking well that Orgerons didn't have anything to do with LSU winning the NC.

He can't even read, much less understand the X's and O's of football; let's get real.

You gotta love O. I thought USC should have given him a shot. Well, look how that turned out.

USC had 8 different admin come in and talk to Oregerons about the head coaching job and, even with an interpreter, no one could understand him.

They determined that effectively hiring a retard was not a good look for USC.

And everyone single one of them at USC are melting over the decision to let that “retard” go and it’s fricking glorious It’s almost as bad as Bama getting over their O arse beating

No disrespect to that team, but I would have to give the nod to Leinart, Bush, Lendale and that entire team. Absolutely decimated some of their opponents, including OU in the championship

This. Plus 2004 was vacated.

AP did not vacate. USC is the 2003/2004 AP national champions.

Claiming an AP title in the BCS era is stupid and shouldn't be recognized.

There is a title format in place and the AP is not part of it. The poll era is over.

Agree, UCF also claims 2017, when Bama won the CFP.

Bama won the Colley in 2016, when Clemson won the CFP, but doesn't claim & won't regardless of what our rivals say.

But the AP has always been considered one of the major polls and the NCAA recognizes it.

The NCAA recognizes anything people want to put in there. They even recognize the UCF title, even though the Colley was merely 1 computer out of a many in a formula where their total only made up 1/3 of the vote.

I'll personally never recognize anything other than the BCS trophy or playoff trophies these days. Poll days are gone, and as someone who lived through that hell for a few decades, good riddance to it.
