Definitely in football I think both fan bases are over it. We have played Auburn more in the past 7 years than any other ACC Coastal team. It's usually a tough, competitive game... I think if Auburn had won more of them the past couple years they wouldn't hate playing Clemson as much.

Are you on the spectrum? You seem to have a difficult time understanding human emotions and motivation

Serious question, it would help everyone communicate with you at your level

Does ridiculing people with autism make you feel better about yourself, redneck sidewalk fan.

I notice you respond to almost every one of my posts on here within a few minutes. You exhibit anti-social behavior.

Anyway, moving on.

I think the average fan doesn't care who the team plays. Just wants their team to win the game.

That contributes, for sure. But I can recall groaning about this before the 2011 matchup even. Certainly it has grown without recent success.

I don’t actually mind the basketball matchup, FWIW. I think Auburn loses, but it’s a better matchup than NMST

You are the only one ridiculing people with autism by associating it as an insult.

I was asking to help better communicate with you.

Not sure why you assume I am both a redneck or a sidewalk fan

Ya not sure why everyone is bitching about the basketball matchup.

I'm bored of playing the same OOC football game, but I'm fine playing in other sports. I'd be fine bringing Clemson in for baseball or even a H/H basketball series

For Tilly though, even if AU won today and a home/home in basketball for 3x straight, I wouldn't want another home/home for 5 games

Several years ago I posted some soviet era apartment buildings as clemson dorms, and Tillman tried to explain to me that they were new dorms that were under construction

yes I had no idea you were posting pictures that were not of Clemson and trying to pass them off as Clemson buildings.

Auburn has several buildings that look SOviet style.

I understand that but you seem to make a big deal out of me thinking they were perhaps the dorms in construction. i did not study those pics.

Clemson does have some ugly older dorms.

You need to study Soviet era buildings to know if they are on your school's campus?

you are on the internet complaining about Auburn playing a certain college out of conference while trying to mock somebody else.

Clemson isn't even on Auburn's future schedules but you still whining about it. Why do so many AUburn fans seem bitter.

Damnit, now you are making me defend the Bumbles!

Size has nothing to do with it.

Tech is good because years ago they decided to be the tech school in the state and south and hired accordingly so they would attract the best and brightest minds and be tops in the south.

If you are going to play "Simple Jack" remember to not go full retard.

Tech didn't decide that....the University of Georgia system trustees decided that.

G Tech is smaller school than Clemson, despite being in the 8th most populated state. Thus, it can be more selective.

It was also given a virtual monopoly on engineering, but now UGA and Georgia SOuthern have engineering programs.

To be as selective as G Tech, Clemson would probably have to reduce enrollment to about 5000 undergrads, to get the same ratio of student body to state population.

Clemson and other colleges could move up in the rankings simply by reducing enrollment. That tells you the rankings don't tell you anything about the quality of the education at the colleges.

You seem very interested in these rankings that you say don't matter

Can you let us get back to basketball discussion now?

No one cares why Clemson is ranked so low on USNews rankings. We got sports to talk about

except you don't actually talk about sports...

i gave an objective analysis of the matchup today upthread.

I'm pretty sure you don't know how the college application system works, which is no surprise. They don't fill a massive lottery drum with the names of everybody in the state the university happens to be located in and say only a certain number of these people can attend. What's that? You don't have the grades, test scores, or aptitude to make it at, or into, this school? Tough - you're still considered a potential student. Yes, even if you're a baby or already have a degree.

Your grasp of the topic is abysmal, and that's being generous.

No, you are truly a slow coach this morning.

If Clemson Engineering gets 20,000 applications and Georgia Tech gets 100,000 it means Tech is the more desired engineering school hence the greater number of applications.

If you really did go to Clemson for college did you not have to take ECON 101 and learn the basics of supply and demand?

Clemson ENG degree = elastic demand
Bumble ENG degree = inelastic demand
