If Bryce Brown shoots well, and Harper and Mustapha both have typical games, and we can keep Spencer out of foul trouble than Auburn can absolutely win. The fact that most people don't think we can win this actually bodes IMO

Auburn and Bama are the best academic SEC schools outside of the ones that are more traditionally known for great academics and more well funded.

Generally as far as academics are concerned in the SEC everybody knows its Vandy #1, the, UGA/ UF/ Texas A&M battling out for the rest of the top spots, then there's a bit of a gap to #5 where Auburn is usually found. Bama is usually tagging along right behind big bro at #6, although I've been noticing y'all skipping further and further back into the bottom-middle pack as y'all have been recently putting more emphasis on sheer enrollment numbers, accepting anybody and everybody who's money will clear, as y'all sacrifice academic integrity to chase that almighty dollar jealousy is a terrible thing

Auburn is a better academic institution than Alabama.

They also have a better football team... proven on the field.

I'd prefer to have engineering degree from AUburn or Bama over Vanderbilt.

Vanderbilt also doesn't offer undergrad business programs which seems bush league to me.

Our engineering program, while quite good, isn't as highly regarded as the university as a whole. But it doesn't matter -- Bama and Auburn have perfectly good engineering programs. Choose the program over the school in toto when applying to college. Also, we charge a lot of money, so we might not be the most cost-effective program in terms of ROI.

As for the rest, people have been reading your posts for many months. Nobody is under the impression you'd even remotely qualify to attend Vanderbilt. Not even a little bit.

If I graduated from Clemson, I would have no problem at a small liberal arts college.

Most people who act like Vanderbilt is amazing are basing that on US News, not any knowledge of the college.

I don't see any way Auburn wins this one the way they closed the season sans Big Man.

That said Clemson could always Clemson

So now Clemson losing in basketball to a P5 regular season confernece champ in a sport that Clemson has little post season success in, is Clemsoning. lol

Clemsoning = having incredibly high expectations for Clemson that you don't have for your own team

Did you see the way we beat Bama with only 7 players just 2 games after McLemore got hurt, and Mustapha Heron was out with the flu.

Shoot anywhere close to that and Clemson is very beatable. But shoot anywhere close to last night and we have no shot.

I graduated from there, as did my wife. And both my parents. So I'm basing my understanding of Vanderbilt, and, more precisely, my assertion that you are just too dumb to get in, on personal experience.

The difficulty getting in isn't actually a subjective metric. Trust me, colleges and universities keep thorough records on the applicants they accept. Yes, even Clemson, so if you have a friend who managed to get in, you can just ask him what his qualifications were, check the published data from the university itself, and get an idea of how you fell so short.
