Anybody think this game have a chance of getting lighteninged (yes I just made that up because rain doesn’t cancel games) out?

The chances of the game being cancelled are very, very low. At worst, it might be delayed. The total rainfall predicted is low, and the thunderstorms are scattered, and even the scattered ones are supposed to be gone by 8:00.

Trying to watch TCU game and saw they’re in a lightening delay currently so they were playing some stuff from college football live show. The little matchup preview with the time and weather was in the bottom corner. Weather read, “87 & Thunderstorms”

Just sayin man, just sayin

Predictions have been all over the place.
Anyone’s guess at this point.
We’ll likely see rain; just need the lightning to stay away.

And the only reason we are having low 80s weather is because of the rain

Texas heat is unlike anything in the SE. 105 degrees and humidity like Georgia and Florida....it’s brutal. Louisiana might compare though. Dallas is unbearable at times....Phoenix temperatures and New Orleans humidity.....

When I was a young man my uncle was married to a woman whose father administered estates. Old boy had been stealing property from dead folks for 50 years. One of the places was a rice farm outside of Texas City.....not even in the best duck and goose hunting in the area.....and it was the charts! At times the snows and specklebellies were so thick you could literally unload on the noisy bastards and couldn’t hear the gun shot!

Loads of teal and pintails. Not many Canada’s or Mallards but loads of specks, snows, pintails and teal. I envy you. That place had one application of subdivision applied to it in the late 90s and is lost for all time.

5% chance of lighteninged

Some rain but fairly low

Muggy but I’ll take a game in the 80s every August & September.

Cool stuff. My connection is way south of there, in the El Campo, Louise, Ganado area. I’ve been gone a long time.

Next thing you know, op and friends will demand the game be moved to Baton Rouge. We all know that when there is a severe storm anywhere LSU is supposed to get a free home game.
