Who cares where GameDay is? God willing, I will be attending the LSU-Texas game in Austin. THAT is what I care about on September 7, 2019. I could not care less about Clemson-A&M.

Careful with tailgating. This is the kind of stuff you'll be dealing with.

Best story line is LSU vs Texas! They haven’t played in years. And Herman was LSU’s 2nd choice for the open position before hiring Coach O.

Seems like obvious choice since Herbie will probably be in the booth.
Game is at Clemson and they just won the natty in convincing fashion. They deserve GameDay that weekend. Also, after last year's game in College Station they'll have plenty to talk about.
Obviously, LSU vs. Texas will have my full attention but I'm not gonna be surprised at all if ESPN sets up camp in Clemson that weekend.

Gameday is for fanbases that need that to be interested....
It doesn't change anything by them being there

How often do they get a chance to go to Austin?
By God, you do have a point there.
Per Wiki, last visit to Austin was on 9/19/09 against unranked Texas Tech. Horns were ranked #2.
GameDay has visited Austin 5 other times:
10/23/99: #3 Nebraska vs #18 Texas
10/4/03: #16 K-State vs. #13 Texas
10/22/05: #8 Texas Tech vs #2 Texas
9/9/06: #1 Ohio State vs #2 Texas
10/18/08: #11 Mizzou vs #1 Texas
Texas is 5-1 when GameDay comes to town. Sole loss was to Ohio State.
Granted, Texas was mediocre at best every year from 2010 to 2017 so that had a lot to do with the lack of GameDay appearances but your point is still very valid.

Assuming everyone is playing solid football, I'd say you go with the flagships.
So LSU and Texas.
So LSU and Texas.

No Worries here LSU will restore order this upcoming season about who belongs behind bama in in the SEC west and it wont be the A&M

Really interested in the LSU/Texas game.
LSU always plays well against their big OOC opponents at the beginning of the year.
Herman as much as I hate to say this is really good at prepping for the big game.
I see Clemson running the table again next year with ease so no point to gameday.

More interested in who is playing at the concert
Rumor is that Texas is in talks with bringing a well known name back to Austin for the LSU game.
Music is much more interesting than Corso and Herbie

Should be a good one.. whatever confidence I have is certainly backed by home field advantage

Hopefully LSU fans don't really want good tickets and are force to buy season tickets.
Because their allotment will be horrible like always

How convenient, since both Texas and LSU >Georgia.. lol

LSU/Texas in 7:00 p.m. slot because nobody cares to watch Clemson destroy A&M.

Clemson aTm I think. Better game will be Texas LSU. At least for the sec.
