I guess Dallas is kind of the Austin of North Texas.

I didn't realize LSU had the chance to beat both UT and aTm on opening day.

Gameday coming to Clemson so Herbstreight can see his twin boys and help recruit for Clemson.

Clemson is our second game of the year (Texas State is the opener).
We’re already listed in the top 10 in several early polls and a few spots lower in others.
Is your reasoning that we’ll fall to the Bobcats at home, then drop 15 points or so and be unranked in our second game?

For the record, I’d vote for LSU/UTex.
It’s rare for the horns to host a big-name team, and Austin is a great city for Gameday.
ESPN ought to take advantage of the opportunity when they can.

Best story line is LSU vs Texas! They haven’t played in years. And Herman was LSU’s 2nd choice for the open position before hiring Coach O.

This.

Clemson/A&M
Clemson is the reigning national champion and A&M finished second in the SEC West.

Clemson/A&M is the bigger draw due to last years game and Dabo vs. Fisher

Gameday will 100% be there. No other home games on Clemson’s schedule where there’s a legit opportunity

By God, you do have a point there.

That was a good point. I'd lean to Austin getting Gameday because the crew hasn't been there in a while.

LSU vs Texas is the more intriguing game I think. Everyone is proclaiming that Texas is back but the last few times that happened they were crushed in early season play.

Want to bet? It's going to be a foregone conclusion that A&m has zero chance. You think people remember anything about last years game besides what was expected to happen?

From a football standpoint it is a better game.

No has mentioned it yet but Tom Herman and Dave Aranda were college roommates.
Aranda recommended Texas' DC to Herman.
Todd Orlando got the Utah St job after Aranda.
Both of them have a very similar style of D

But....
The question is will LSU open up the offense
None of the offensive coaches at LSU are even close to what Texas has.

But you think LSU's run Defense will be as bad.

That is truthfully the only way Jimbo has a chance is if LSU can't stop the run again.

Lol. Oh man, pay attention closely, this is why everyone thinks you're dumb. What does any of that have to do with Gameday week 2 next season?

Gameday has a much higher chance to go to A&M vs Clemson than your little game.

Get mad, yell, cry. I don’t care which. Doesn’t change that fact
