You do realize that game is never played in Austin, right? That's why the horn trolls are always on here trying to agitate for A&M to play them again, so that they'll have a decent game in Austin, as opposed to their neutral site game with OU.
I could see ESPN edging towards LSU-Texas for that very reason. How often do they get a chance to go to Austin? Of course, as pillow soft as the rest of the ACC has been, the A&M game may be their best opportunity for a trip to the home of the defending champs, so it could come down to which network is televising the LSU-Texas game (and if it's Fox, that might push ESPN to Clemson).
No.....
That is what aggy wants.
You think you are a lot more important than you are.
Texas still can 100K with weak Big XII schools like Iowa State West Virginia.
Throw a huge OOC every two years on top of that.....
Texas would rather play
ND
USC
LSU
Alabama
Ohio St
Michigan
Georgia
If we can get the game against aggy axed
Penn State after the UGA home and home.
All these schools are consistent Top 15 programs.
They bring much more value than aggy.
Big 12 is a 9 game schedule...
One Big OOC and aggy takes away the flexibility.
Much rather play LSU ..
Better fanbase
Better football program
Plus they don't think they are more important than they are

The question is will LSU open up the offense
The Hundred Thousand Dollar question. Les Miles was canned in large part because of offensive struggles but its not like Coach O has unleashed an offensive juggernaut upon the world.
I still lean towards LSU in the game, I think they will wear the Horns out if they get the power running game going, but if Texas gets a couple of early scores and gets LSU out of their game plan the Bengals could be in a world of hurt.

Clemson/A&M is their second game in the series and UT is probably one of the hotter off-season stories after their drubbing of UGA. Texas v LSU would be my vote.
