Congrats to Alabama. Clemson played much harder than i expected and Alabama played great down the stretch. I thought Clemson might be the one to mix it up with the onside but Alabama pulled it at the right time. One of the better NC games.

Clemson had a great game plan, some incredible individual performances, and simply DID. NOT. QUIT.
they earned my respect. Ultimately, Bama just had more horsepower and executed well when we had to.

Yep. Clemson came to play. Especially Watson. Dude played insane. Alabama just made the plays when it counts. Reminded me so much of the USC Texas game of 05.

Difference in the game was composure.
There was an obvious talent discrepancy, but Clemson's offense played a championship caliber game despite a turnover.
However, it was obvious the Clemson defense and particularly the secondary played rattled and somewhat undisciplined. Teams tend to mimic their coach- Saban coached as if he had been there before and Alabama played as if they had been there before. Dabo acted like the moment was too big for him all game and it seemed some players on the defense played that way.

That was a great game. Congratulations Bama. You guys earned it. Hopefully we can meet up in playoffs again next year if all works out for both teams.
