This committee nonsense has run its course. Time to move to a NFL style where your schedule actually matters....

Bama deserves to be above Cincy. The playoff committee got it right today.
Yes Bama has struggled with some weak opponents, but so has Cincinnati and the teams Bama struggled with are significantly better than the teams Cincy struggled with.
I do think a scenario where the last playoff spot comes down to either Oklahoma State or Cincinnati would be fascinating. People will be pissed if a 13-0 Cincinnati doesn’t get in

Bama lost to A&M. OSU has a loss and several narrow wins over some crap teams.

Last year bowl game between Cincinnati-Georgia must've been good enough for Cininnati to be ahead of Alabama!
Only way Alabama gets in is to beat Georiga in the conference championship game.

OK St.'s schedule and results do not hold up against an undefeated team who is already in the conversation for a playoff spot. Recency bias is the only reason you put them in over Cincinnati as they have been impressive lately by curb stomping four bad to mediocre opponents and beating OU.

I mean if I was the committee I’ve seen Alabama struggle with almost every team they’ve played including an inranked LSU. There’s really nothing about the eye test that should boost them this season
