On ESPN right now Andy Katz is saying that they are unsure if he will return.

Big mistake by TN. They should have let him ride this out and take the hits. They could have recovered in 2 years. Now it will take the next coach 4 years to put his program in place before you can decide if he is a good coach. If he is not, add 4 more years to the process. With Pearl you know you had a good coach, just not a very smart one.

If low really did say that I'm pretty sure he's gone. Chris Low has his flaws but ge knows UT.

You know this is basketball and not football, right? It won't be a huge process. Next year is going to be a disaster because the only quality players on the roster are probably going to be gone, but a good coach can win soon after that.
And regardless of whether the hire is botched, Pearl has to be fired.

Hamilton should be fired for saying anything about this, since I am assuming this is coming from the interview he did recently. Seriously? Two days before the tournament? Dude is an idiot and deserves to be fired right after Pearl.
