I don't even know how many Jrs and Srs we have on scholarship. It can't be very many.

I think AU is a 6-6 to 8-4 team this year so you might as well go young and build depth/experience for future. That's exactly what I'd want my team to do...to be honest I'd want to start Frazier if I was an AU fan. He'll take lumps early, but would be, essentially, a soph by "Amen Corner".

Agree 100% on all of this.

Actually depth this year will be MUCH better than it was in 2009.

In 2009 we had LB's and DB's playing every defensive play of every game plus special teams.

Now EXPERIENCE issues? That we've got.

Frazer is not ready.. Looks great in the uniform, but needs to mature.. Also, do not want to start Frazer and not get Z.Pike to come.. BT has had three years in the offense.

As to the youth movement, Auburn is VERY young. Young means mistakes, mistakes means losses.. 2012, the schedule is better AND the talent will be more experienced.

Seniors on this years Auburn team barely exist.

That was how bad Tubs recruiting was right at the end. He just gave the frick up.

You hear Bama fans talk about how Saban likes to "make them quit"? Saban made Tuberville quit. Truth.

Not to mention the upperclassmen we're supposed to have were depleted by the usual coaching change attrition.

Not really. Most of the scholarship upperclassmen we have that aren't injured will be in the two deep and contribute. The problem is, we don't have very many scholarship upperclassmen.

NCAA is gonna hit within 5 years, no use to redshirt anyone.

I don't want us to become this year's Texas

Texas didn't suck b/c of lack of talent, they sucked b/c of dissension on the coaching staff. They almost completely turned their staff over except for Brown after the season b/c of the trouble they had during the year (not totally, but like 2/3 of the staff is new).

It would surprise me if AU had similar staff dissension. There are no warning signs of it. I would be shocked if AU had a losing record. Like I said, I think you guys are 6-6 to 8-4 depending on play of your o-line & QB.

I was just referring to going to the NC one season then having an awful showing the next season

Depth isn't a problem anymore, it's experience.

I don't see that happening to AU this year. Y'all have a ton of young players, but a lot of those young guys still got PT last season.

Overall OL should be very solid. My target for this team is 8-4, 9 wins if things go well 7 wins if things go rough.

We don't have "depth" problems per say but an experience problem, though we do have talented depth issues at DT.
