Chips are down: What's the next storyline in the conference?

We've all been waiting for this last weekend since last year and it delivered.
But what now?
Is it back to business as usual with week to week stuff or is there a storyline on the horizon that is escaping me?

Mississippi State has a decent chance of starting 5-0. They are ranked 24th, but some of the computer models already have them in the top 15 and as high as the top 10.
If they do so, they will have Auburn, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt and Tennessee Tech at home - all very winnable games.
That means they would be one road upset - at LSU, at Texas, at Ole Miss from being 10-2 and in the College Football Playoff.
You could make an argument that they could go 9-3 and be in contention for a playoff bid if they get one of the road games.
Ole Miss looks like a Playoff team already. I'd argue that this week at Florida is their game that could put them solidly in the playoff if they win.
Is the SEC Rant, College football, and the World at large ready for an Egg Bowl between two teams that could make the CFP?

I really think Tenn and OU win this week and it will turn everything upside down.

LSU plays Texas A&M this saturday. The loser of that game will be 0-2 in conference and that will be a huge hill to climb to make it to the CFP. In my opinion, that's a big story because both teams expect to make the CFP this season.
