Jimbo
Arnett

Pittman - just waiting on the call
Clark Lea - maybe? probably?

Is that it?

Beamer looks like he will enter next season on the hot seat, he better not stub his toe

Napier is probably safe this season but without demonstrable improvement next year could be up in the air

He's probably good for another 4 years. Vandy doesn't care anymore.

Pio gonna be pissed with all of these coaches threads and he ordered us to keep them on the Coaches Changes board.

If anything they'll wait until the stadium is done renovating and start a "new era" at that time

Pitman this year. Next year Beamer and Napier gone.

Warm seats will be Bobby Hill, Stoops (if he loses both remaining games)

Pittman is gone.

Beamer definitely has at least one more year but USC fans are getting restless. Win the next 2 games (possible but not probable) and his seat cools considerably. Lose the next two (going to be the underdog in both, outlook not great) and year 4 becomes do or die. The issue is that the schedule next year is considerably tougher and you lose your best playmakers on offense, outside of Harbor.

Florida is in a tough spot because Napier really doesn’t look like he will be able to get it done to the standard that Florida is used to. It’s still pretty early in the tenure and you don’t want to be perceived as a program with a quick trigger finger, especially considering the competition you face in-state and in conference. However, I think most people would agree that it would be a minor miracle if Napier rights the ship and has Florida competing for the conference at a consistent level.

Lea hasn’t gone 0-for yet in a season, so he’s safe. Vandy gives zero fricks right now.

Saban, Smart, Stoops, Heupel, Drink, Freeze, Kelly, Kiffin are all really comfortable right now.

Napier certainly has that dead man walking feel going into next year. If Pit is gone at Arky too this year, then that makes Napier’s the hottest SEC seat by the end of this season. In his second year.

That’s wild.

I was today's year old learning who Vandy's coach was. I legitimately didn't know his (or her's since its Vandy) name.

If the Vandys ,USCe,Fla,dont give their coaches more than 3 years to BUILD their programs then all they will get is a
revolving door of coaches. It takes time to make major progress in in program building.Fla was a dumpster fire
when Billy took over ,you dont get enough talent in 2 years
to compete in the SEC.The same can be said moreso for
vandy and USCe.But good luck to all you impatient college
FB fans.

Beamer has six years ... period.

Unless he were to have a completely winless season, or a two win season, or something like that ... he'll get six seasons.

Muschamp left us in tatters. Complete and total disarray. What Muschamp did to us should be criminal.

Beamer gets six years minimum. He's built a lot of goodwill with the fans and he's working his arse off.

Now, he has a coordinator that may not have much longer but that's another story.

Even if they don't this season, it's just delaying the inevitable, unless the fanbase and administration is ok with settling for second tier. The SEC teams have set the bar too high and unfortunately, unless UGA and Bama's entire team gets killed in a plane crash, UGA and Bama rule this conference and will for the foreseeable future.

Everyone thought the transfer portal was going to level the playing field, but Ole Miss is a team full of transfers and UGA just prison-raped them. Yeah, FSU and a couple of others have had success bringing in players through the portal, but that was against the 'Our Lady of Grace Catholic School Girl's Flag Football' team conferences.

UGA and Bama are just going to keep on getting the best recruits, developing them, winning games, winning championships and the rest of the SEC will continue to scramble for a '2nd tier' position and a decent bowl game. That's about as good as it's going to get for a while.

This really isn't meant to be a 'rub salt in the wound' post, I'm just stating what others are saying all across the cfb landscape today and what everyone reading this already knows, whether you'll admit it on this cesspool of a forum or not. There is a few teams that have taken over the elite spots of cfb, and they aren't going anywhere. Everyone wanted to believe that Saban was on his way out and now Bama is going to play for the SECCG. And of course, KS had the Dawgs on top and we aren't going anywhere anytime soon either. If you don't believe me, just consider we are about to play for our 28th straight win, then go look at our current recruiting class.

Sorry SEC brethren/sisteren...but it is what it is. And its UGA and Bama...and everyone else.

Admittedly I am an LSU fan, but I do not see how you can lump LSU in with "everyone else."

Not with their record over the last 20 years. 3 NCs.

Sure, they can have a bad season now and then, but they are definitely someone that you have to keep your eye on.

Why do you think Bama has their bye week before the LSU game going back many years?

I think he's a foreman on the construction crew too, so they can't fire him.

Pittman is gone. It's actually kind of cruel to just let him twist in the wind.
