My problem with the heat in Texas is that there is no relief. When the sun goes down it might cool off 5 degrees if you are lucky

Portland metro

Still a dry heat though.

Damn, that is hot! Portland is pretty during the Summer though. I've been in AZ when it is 120 and the airport is shut down because the tarmac is melting ...

None. High powered A/C—set no higher than 68–, cooling sheets and pillows, swimming pools, and Yeti tumblers that act as shelters for ice are a Texan’s best friend.

I wish I didn’t love the place more than life.

In CO last week it was high 80's, which is hot without air conditioning - worked out of the basement. However, it always drops down into the 50's and 60's at night out here.

What?

That's like an Igloo!

I keep it as warm as I can tolerate during the day. Usually around 78 to 80. So long as it kicks on once in a while it's good. I set it lower at night but also use a fan as I find that helps much more.

The pool is definitely the way to go.

That is so nice while camping in the mountains. I remember camping down South and having to sleep on top of my sleeping bag and still being hot.

Escaping to the coast this weekend to take advantage of the cool marine air coming off the Pacific.

Colorado is quickly turning into a shite hole with its California evacuee efforts.

You can say that for a vast swath of the West. Californication. Does keep our real estate high though until the next bubble bursts.

My Oldest brother lives in Portland. Very nice area. With the recently problems all around the Country are destroying America!

You guys don’t have trap houses in Mississippi?

Maybe it’s just a fixer-upper(with bodies in the crawl space)
