fricking LOVE the hire. Been saying forever that Kiffin needs the SEC and the SEC needs Kiffin.

In

It could blow up on Ole Miss, but it could blow up on everyone else.

Going to be fun either way.

It won’t be the sure win that’s been out there the last few years. I’m sure he will make them better, but the championships will still run through the big 6.

Did LSU hire O because of his great success at Ole Miss?

I love how everyone keeps throwing this out there as if that type of turnaround should somehow be expected now.

Orgeron completely reinvented himself as a head coach after the Ole Miss debacle. He’s learned from his mistakes. Time will tell whether Lane has learned from his mistakes. But let’s not act like the Orgeron redemption story is the norm.

Why would he leave Alabama? All of the rumors I’ve seen are that Lane will bring Kendal Briles with him.

It's probably the best hire that OM could have made and they don't have anything to lose.

I'll be concerned if/when he starts hurting LSU in recruiting because that is the only way that he will ever get us on the field.

You will have never heard the nail talk so much shite to the hammer in your life.

I welcome it, though. The game needs more personalities.

If the NCAA doesn’t hammer them they will get some good recruits

Especially considering his knowledge of the recruiting landscape in Cal and FL.
