No shite! Is this shite a prerequisite course in all AU undergrad programs?
No it was on the job training provided by all the horrible opposing fan bases over the last 8-9 months here on TD.

Probably looked worse in print than he sounded. However, he did confirm the ongoing investigation, and he didn't say anything about thinking AU is "safe" from having appearance removed. If he had said "AU is fine" then AU fans would have been all over that.

If "flipping a coin" is the best Charles Robinson has been able to come up with in going on 9 months, I'm feeling pretty damned good.

Some people need to listen to the audio again. He didnt say "flip a coin" on if AU was going to get in trouble. He said "flip a coin" on which team - AU or Oregon - would have to forfeit appearance in BCSNCG FIRST. It wasnt a "will they" question. It was a "whose first" question. He makes it sound as if his opinion is that it is a foregone conclusion that they both will but to flip a coin on who is first.

To say "if that's all he's got after 9 months" is the picture of head in sand.

Feh... can be understood either way.

Especially considering the way it was jokingly SPOKEN rather than the way you tried to present it as DOOM.

I've actually said on the Rant that I don't think AU will ever get in any trouble for Cam. I think everyone agrees that something happened there, but I think AU was "smart" dirty in the way it was handled. I just think it is foolish for a fanbase to be so flippant towards anything negative - jokingly or not is a matter of opinion - that Charles Robinson says about your program.

If Robinson said something jokingly about LSU during his interview about Oregon & Lyles all the AU fans would be JUMPING on it. However, since it was said about your program you dismiss it as "jokingly spoken".

This dude is Rudra. I said it last night, and I will say it again...I don't even want him in the same state as my favorite team. He leaves behind pestilence and plague..

This is pretty much already happening, just not about something that Robinson said.

Why is it that when Auburn fans defend Auburn they are just delusional, head in the sand fans. When Bama, LSU, and all other fans go into defense mode then they are justified and we are just being delusional again and trying to drag them down with us?

I think that's why Auburn fans keep posting shite, even stupid shite. You guys act just like all the Auburn fans when it comes to defending the school you are a fan of, yet we are the only ones that are denying, deflecting, or sticking our heads in the sand.

They already jumped all over us. Robinson hasn't even made a statement about us either

Easy, because Alabama and LSU fans are under no delusions of grandeur that their programs are totally incapable of doing any wrong. There is an element of general concern and uneasiness among Bama, LSU, etc fans when accusations come up. On the other hand, Auburn fans have an almost cultish belief in the infallibility of their program. There have been countless rumors and allegations against Auburn from MANY fanbases all year yet Auburn fans act outraged over the mere suggestion that they'd ever dare break a rule.

Because the last thing Au fans used to try to attack Bama with, was the Jerrell Harris packet. You know, the one where several high school students were stalked, had their pictures taken clandestinely, their car tags and purchase history investigated.

There is the problem. Rumors and allegations from many fanbases, not from anyone with ANY actual facts or proof that these "rumors and allegations" are valid. Thats what Auburn fans fight against. While there are some out there that think Auburn has never and will never do no wrong, I believe that most of us know Auburn is just as guilty as any other school out there of doing shady things.

Every one of you Bama fans think that something dirty happened with Cam and Auburn and since we don't think the same as you then we are delusional. All we have ever said is show us the proof and we will believe it. Until that happens quit spewing unverified bullshite.

Thats not a good thing, but neither is poisoning trees because of shite you have been fed for years and believed to be a fact when it was a lie.

We all have our stupid wacked out fans. I grew up in Alabama, I have lived in South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Mississippi, and now Louisiana, crazy fans are everywhere.

I know you're new here but just FYI ~ AU has some shady arse characters supporting, administering, and running your program.

Men that are known crooks, cheaters and that throw their money and power around to get what they want. (Some of these men will end up in jail for their actions.)

You've also got a coach that has carried a bad recruting reputation around with him at every coaching stop he's made. He shows his arse on the football field at every opportunity and is one of the most unprofessional men in his field. He's got connections to many of the street agents that the NCAA is currently investigating.

All this and AU constantly throws Family, God, and the Auburn Creed into people's faces.

You can defend, deny, and deflect til the cows come home ~ but until you rid yourselves of the rotten men that have run your program for the past 30 years, very few opposing fans will see your institution in a positive light.
