Fact check. They did not. They had to be dragged kicking and screaming over the finish line via the emancipation proclamation and the federal government wrecking their shite just like the rest of the south.

Louisiana elected a former grand wizard of the KKK to the state legislator in the 1990’s.

The last presidential candidate to run on a campaign of white supremacy was LSU alum, former Louisiana legislator, and beloved Louisiana son David Duke.

Race relations are not a good strategy for you.

alabama and recent racism

Recent reports and events in Alabama indicate ongoing challenges with systemic and interpersonal racism, ranging from voter dilution and environmental disparities to racist harassment and legislative actions targeting diversity initiatives.
Systemic and Legal Issues
Voting Rights and Redistricting: In 2025, federal courts continued to find that Alabama lawmakers intentionally diluted the voting power of Black residents by refusing to draw a second majority-Black district, defying U.S. Supreme Court orders.
Environmental Racism: The U.S. Department of Justice has investigated environmental racism in Lowndes County, where a majority-Black, rural region lacks adequate sewage systems, causing a health crisis.
Criminal Justice Disparities: Data shows Black Alabamians are over-policed and over-incarcerated, comprising 25% of the state population but over 50% of the prison population. Additionally, Black residents face higher rates of parole denial compared to white applicants.

Recent Incidents and Political Rhetoric
Racist Text Messages (Nov 2024): Following the 2024 election, Black students at the University of Alabama and other institutions received racist, anonymous text messages telling them to report to plantations to pick cotton.
Legislative Action on Diversity: Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed a law in 2024 restricting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives in schools and universities.
Controversial Political Rhetoric: Senator Tommy Tuberville has been criticized for comments labeled as racist and anti-Muslim, including targeting U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar.
University Incidents: The University of Alabama has faced scrutiny over race-based, "segregated" scholarships and the closing of the Black Student Union space.
Historical Legacy and Ongoing Challenges
Workplace Discrimination: A 2024 study ranked Alabama as having the highest rate of workplace racial discrimination in the U.S..
Constitutional Language: While the state legislature voted to remove racist language from the 1901 constitution (which was designed to establish white supremacy), the historical impact of these, and other, policies persists

I see no quotation marks.
How about handling that, and while you're at it, give us the credit info on its author (as one should always do.

Louisiana is the last state to elect a former grand wizard of the KKK to a state level position.

Hi friend. What is going on with the SPLC? I read where they have been charged with corruption for funneling contributions to the KKK. You seem to be very familiar with them and a huge supporter, so please spill the beans.

And while you are at it, can you explain LSU fan’s sudden change of heart about euro pros being eligible to play in the SEC. The entire LSU fanbase appears to have done a 180 degree turn on it in the past few days.

Thank you friend.

LSU Stephen passed the baton to LSU Patrick. And while it surprises everyone, nothing has changed. LSU Patrick is just as retarded as LSU Stephen.

I'm not a left nor am I right. I trust in God and thats it. Now the left tend to be on the other side of Gods teachings. The ones that are too far right are also far away from God. Are you upset that the SPLC won't be funding your brotherhood anymore?

That doesn't seem fair. Most of the LSU fans I know are blissfully unaware they still have a basketball program.
