Only a fool would believe nothing happened.
Money talks and makes a lot of problems go away.
I guarantee this girl will be well taken care of.

Off topic, but I’m looking forward to a serious three year run with the Saints.

Upshaw - “Roll Tide”; GF’s dad blames his daughter(I'll let her Daddy do the honors)

Geno Smith - multiple DUIs while at Bama (non-violent misdemeanors that WERE punished both internally and through the legal system)

Reuben - sent home from combine for heated dispute with staff; weapons; domestic violence “victim recants”
(WTF!!!!...ALL these charges were made AFTER his career at Alabama)

I think it was an AR-15, and the case was plead down to a misdemeanor.

Ehhh

With the medical notes also on Fosters side, Im not sure how anyone can still think he did this

However, Reubs has had 3 run ins in the mere 16 months since leaving Bama

So that is averaging a run in every 5.5 months

So we will all have another Reubs thread to argue in shortly

What else do they have?

LSU sucks and hasn't beaten Alabama in 7 tries( ) and even when Auburn does beat them, Alabama wins the NC

It was, but it was an SBR which requires an ATF tax stamp and is considered and assault rifle in cali, two different no no's

Foster really needs to run with a better crowd regardless. Dating an older woman who had previously falsely accused another man...dumb

Should’ve taken the Nick Saban approach, IMO. Spend whatever it takes on legally defending the ones vital to wins and losses and then “deal with them internally”.

Come on man, you sound irritated with the way NS chooses to run his program, every coach manages their team their own way.

I'd have to assume that if he didn't have a stamp, we'd have heard from the feds a lot sooner than this, and as I mentioned, the state charge was plead down so you'd have to think that the purchase was both out-of-state and legal at time of purchase.
Hell, he probably didn't even realize that the rifle wasn't legal on the Left Coast, as he didn't realize weed wasn't legal outside of San Fran.

Apparently he bought it in Alabama and didn't register it fast enough in California.

Misdemeanor.

Agreed. He finds trouble when he's left alone. Arrested twice, fighting with a hospital worker, guns and drugs. If I'm John Lynch I'm hiring an assistant to follow him and making Reuben call in every day twice a day. Wayyy too many news stories for his first year.

His gun is fine and what the hell is wrong with someone smoking weed?

He could definitely clean it up a bit, but it's way too early to know if he has serious problems.

That's why I said take the precautionary approach now, while he's young and new. Check on him more, keep tabs of where he's at. I don't care if he's smoking weed, but when "ARRESTED" is printed in the news it's one more story the 49ers have to clean up.

Agree 100%

Hell, RF is not a smart individual (a hell of a football player) so he'll either take this as a wake up call, be thankful it ended like it did and learn from it OR we'll see him in the headlines again before summer ends.

You're absolutely right. With what SF's got invested, I'd be amazed if he didn't have some new BFFs from now on.
