I kind of meant that figuratively. I also assumed at least one rantard would take it literally though.

Man, I don't know. I actually like USCe. They are one of the "kindred spirits" of the second class citizens who were not charter members here, and I like the loyalty of your fan base. Good people.
I say all that so I can say this: Any team that gets slapped around by a service academy (after, say, 1940) has a long hard road to make the case they were MNC-caliber.

We would have played in it, that's for sure. Carolina Curse. Good enough to run the table and beat Clemson, but also lose to Navy by 17 and OkSU in the Gator bowl.
Happens every time we're good. Beat #1 Bama? Let's lose to unranked Kentucky the very next week. One game from the East in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
shite sucks, but frick it.

Yet another data point in the "kindred spirits" model...
Win the SEC tournament at #2 by beating #1. Get voted #1 by every poll. Get 4th seed in the postseason.

(I'll actually take it, though. Better to go in feeling a bit disrespected, and UF has a harder road, I think.)

They were ranked #2 and undefeated before the Navy game. shite happens and it's compounded by being late in the season (see #2 Oklahoma State losing to 5-6 Iowa State in 2011

easy 2010 Iron Bowl. (Butterfly effect all but eliminates kick six or really anything that happens to the two teams by 2013.)
Auburn's Cam Newton dream season ends with a 46-7 drubbing in Tuscaloosa.

But that was before the final week. Had we beaten Auburn we would have been SEC champs (12-1) and Bama(11-1) would have been a division runner up who had just lost to the team we just beat.
Absolutely no chance.

Agree 96 fiesta vs Nebraska.

Actually, I would change the outcome of last years egg bowl so that we won. It would have been so nice to finish ahead of Ole Miss for the 7th straight year.

Hell I can tell you the specific play. 2014 BCSNCG for the 2013 season AU/FSU. If Chris Davis doesn't slip on the curl route underneath I believe we won that game.
