I think the top 4 should be UGA, Michigan, OSU, and FSU. Michigan has played weaker opponents, but they've had more convincing victories.

Some of those teams will lose to the other. So, there will be some shake up before the final poll is out.

Enjoy this kind of back and forth discussion while you still can because next year, with the 12 slot bracket, both teams would be playing in round one.

And possibly would get another crack at Georgia.

Georgia should’ve been #1 since the beginning. Until they lose, they should get the benefit of the doubt.

Georgia did the same with Beck that Alabama did with Milroe. Brought him along in stages until he fully understood the playbook and his offensive teammates. It's just that Georgia didn't lose a game and bench their QB.

Mizzou wins out and finishes top 10 could land them a NY6 bowl.

I disagree. This year's team should stand on its own and not be ranked based on the last two years.

This is correct. Last year should have no bearing. Whether they should be No. 1 or OSU right now is debatable, but obviously if Georgia runs the table and beats Alabama, there is no question they will and should go into the playoffs ranked No. 1, which is all that really matters.

Well yeah

That and UGA had the benefit of not playing a team with a pulse until November

Texas sucking is basically keeping Alabama from being higher.

Due to the head-to-head win, Texas has to stay ahead of Alabama so long as they have the same record. It doesn't matter than Texas has looked fairly bad the past few weeks.

Because of the fact that they have looked rough, Oregon gets ahead of them, and therefor ahead of Alabama. If Alabama had lost to, say, Ohio State, they'd probably be 6th right now.

Why are LSU fans so concerned about where Tennessee is?
At least us being ranked is a good thing.
I know we are not last year’s team hell we all know that.

No, getting it just for having won the year prior is archaic old college football shite.

Last year should mean nothing. There's a reason the CFP rankings don't come out until November.

Have you been watching Ole Miss football games lately? Getting blown out by UGA. Mizzou just a week earlier had a chance to win it and fell apart at the end. Then blow out Tennessee. Ole Miss also got blown out by Alabama. No excused by losing badly by those two teams.

It’s a what have you done for me lately world but Mizzou is 7-3 if they play the Rebs’ schedule.

Also, since when is a 14 point loss to Bama in Tuscaloosa a blowout?

Are you ignoring Ole Miss’s win over #24 Tulane on the road?

Again, Mizzou is 7-3 or worse with the Rebs’ schedule. They couldn’t even beat LSU on their home field! Ha!
