Georgia is probably freaking out that they have to face Ohio State instead of Indiana/Texas Tech
Why?

The first round should be sugar bowl, etc. The top 4 should have their first game at home as reward for grinding all season.

Tulane and James Madison’s have no reason being in the playoffs. Group of five need their own playoffs. I am glad Notre Dame got left out but these auto bids are stupid.

JMU is tough. They can beat Oregon and then Texas Tech. I like their chances.

It’s going to move to 16 teams soon.

The decision: do we protect Bama, or do we protect ND. They chose to protect Bama.
That the fundamental issue is one of brand protection speaks to the illogic and corruption of the whole system.
G6 needs their own playoff. All playoffs should be auto qualifiers with play ins, with committees only performing seeding.

Put it back to 4 teams and be done with this foolishness. We know it’s about the TV money, but when does the adding games stop. No one will be watching half of these games. May as well draw names out of a hat.

It’s because the ACC would have been furious if they didn’t get a team.
The committee actually could have easily solved that problem by putting Duke in the playoffs over JMU. As I discussed in my previous post.
But instead the committee ends up seeming retarded by letting a #60ish JMU into the playoffs rather than a #35ish Duke, and jumping Miami over ND when both are idle.

We whupped your butt last time we played and yall won't honor the contract and come play at Troy. JMU earned their spot. Yall pampered practice in the air conditioning P4 Pu$$ies are just jealous of what G5 accomplishes on a budget.

Maybe they should join a conference and play somebody

ND is a top 5 -8 team in college football according to nearly all predictive models - SP+, FEI, F+, FPI,Sagarin , Massey etc., plus they ‘re ranked ahead of Miami in the AP and Coaches poll. If they wanted ND in they could have made the argument. No preferential treatment here for them

If you let a fricking FIVE loss team into the playoffs, then you might as well just blow the entire thing up and start anew from the rubble.

Why in the he’ll would LSU play at Troy. Yea y’all beat us. Congratulations. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes. Y’all need your own playoffs, like other small conferences. It would be funny to watch.

Reece Davis made Hunter look like a moron on National TV and Hunter knew it.

Neither Oklahoma or Alabama have a prayer against Indiana. Oklahoma beats Alabama (again) however.

No point. Then everyone would continue to bitch about 17 and 18 getting left out.
It never needed to go to 12 either.

You'd play at Troy because you signed the contract. Mississippi State honored the contract after we beat them. No honor LSU and lyin Lane. Good luck.

Oklahoma got the easiest draw.
They will beat Alabama and they get Indiana instead of Ohio State, and then Texas Tech
They have more talent than Indiana and Texas Tech
