If UGA didn’t lose to LSU by 20 then I would think even if they lost to Bama they would have a chance at number 4. Instead if OU beats Texas and that’s a big if... our defense really matches up horrible with Texas and what they like to do, we are in. Once we get to the 50 we should just use all four downs and not punt. Onside kick surprise would be good also. Whatever we can do to get more possessions. We just have to score early Nd not fall behind.

So unless OU loses Ohio State is definitely not jumping Oklahoma. I don’t see how a win vs. Northwestern will change the committee’s mind

Not true. Remember what happened to TCU in 2014. #3, beat Iowa State by 52 points, and fell to #6.

And being ahead of LSU puts us in the Peach against a Big 10 team instead of in the Fiesta against UCF. We need to root like hell for Ohio State to make the playoffs so Michigan plays in the Rose Bowl and we get Penn State.

If no upsets this weekend and Oklahoma is #4:

Orange CFPS: Clemson/Notre Dame
Cotton CFPS: Alabama/Oklahoma

Fiesta: LSU/UCF (Fiesta has to take G5 rep this year)
Rose: Ohio State/Washington (B10 vs P12)
Peach: Florida/Michigan
Sugar: Georgia vs West Virginia (SEC vs B12)

If no upsets this weekend and Ohio State is #4:

Cotton CFPS: Alabama/Ohio State

Rose: Michigan/Washington
Peach: Florida/Penn State
Sugar: Georgia/Oklahoma

Nope, Fiesta is stuck with the G5 rep this year. We're playing either Michigan or Penn State.

Bama-tOSU would be placed in the Cotton Bowl. Clemson-ND in the Orange Bowl.

Wow, you're right. I thought Miami Gardens was closer than Arlington. That sucks for Alabama.

Your name isn't half bad either

Don't you know? Alabama will someway somehow creep into the playoff and then compete for a natty WITHOUT winning the SEC for the third time...

OHMAHGHERD. Georgia loses and we here in Western Arkansas have to hear the the fricking wagon burners of Oklahoma endlessly until Bama spanks them. That Boomer Sooner bullshite after every play is worse than that shite you Baws' band did during the OT fiasco
