It only creates a major crack in the theory of matching up the top 4 teams. UGA would beat OU or OSU, but we have to play the fricking NFC Pro Bowl team to even get in.

Could be worse. We had to play Georgia twice and bama once to get in.

I think it’s hilarious some folks think Missouri being in is propping up bama and UGA when if you’ve actually watched them they’re probably better than a large majority of the teams ranked 10-25. They had a couple of losses where they blew it themselves but they are good on both sides of the hall.

Missouri is hot and cold. When they are own they can flat out play. They had some games like UGA did vs LSU where we just didn’t play well and good SEC teams will make you pay. Missouri is a damn good team when they are playing well.

You lost to UCF last season.
Who said that you can speak, yet?

Go sit in the corner and feel shame.

Just a thought... Notre Dame doesn't have a con champ game, so... Does Oklahoma Jump ND with a win...

In other words, GA loses to Bama,
Bama 1
Clemson 2
Ok 3
ND 4 because of no Con Cham game? hmmmm

Really a down year in cfb if Florida is #9. They are just not a good football team.

UCF behind Michigan tells me UCF has absolutely no shot at the top 4, and really never did. Committee views them extremely poorly. They'd be a huge dog to most of the teams above them, but it's kinda shitty you can go undefeated 2 seasons in a row and still not even sniff a shot.

The Group of 5 conferences really should just go do their own thing.

True. In part because we're still breaking in a HC and OC. And Emmanuel Hall is irreplaceable.

The only true weakness is in the defensive secondary. The DEs are below average as well.

If OU spanks UT badly they will be #3 and play Clemson

(This is assuming Bama beats UGA which is definitely not a sure thing IMO)

Possibly, but I doubt it. I think a Tua vs Murray match up will happen if there is any way for the selection committee to make that happen.

Got to say I hope you are right. Would love to play OU.

So win and it's either :
ND or OU (if beat UT)

If lose:
Clemson (most likely)

Just looking...we are fortunate to be where we are.

How is Florida ranked so high?

LSU is too high.

Missouri is way too low.

In any case, OU and tOSu (in that order are the most dangerous teams for Bama), so I'd be glad to get either in first round.

CNS has the most success when his team has more time. Having more time for the D to prep, study, and gameplan for one of CFBs best offenses either from a scheme or talent matchup viewpoint is a good thing.

Bama has acquired a lot of familiarity with Clemson and ND is a paper tiger, so getting either of them in 2nd round is more ideal for a Saban coached team than trying to prep for a very dynamic offense in a short period.
