Just now figuring that out? You should remember 2017 well. Bama gets in the Playoff with their best win being an 8-4 MSU team and didn't even win their Division. It is a joke.

Absolutely no one should be surprised here.
You can argue all day about weather aTm deserves it over ND or OSU and it is a legitimate argument.
But the committee was NEVER going to to put aTm in over those 2 teams as long as they had 1 loss or less.
It’s all about money and TV ratings. And it’s just a fact that OSU and ND bring more of that than aTm.

Oh I agree. I’m just looking at it from the committee’s standpoint.
They don’t care whose deserving or the best. If that was so, Ohio State would not even be in the top 10 after playing half a schedule.
But the committee is all about ratings and money. Not necessarily the best 4 teams...no matter what they claim publicly

The difference is they first beat the perennial team they just got whipped by showing they could win. A&M didn't do that. You have to beat Bama along with everyone else to get in or be in the East and win out avoiding them altogether and then either win the SEC championship or lose a close one to have a legitimate shot.
